After I was with the team for a while, it was nice having the staff to talk to. They didn’t judge me. The thing about CMHA Durham and Community Wellness Services is that they have workers that really care. These workers do their jobs because they really care about other human beings and because they want to make a difference. By these workers showing us that they care, they make a big difference in our lives, a heck of a big difference.

I can honestly say that the support that I have received has been 100% successful at keeping me out of the hospital. It has also lessened my dependence on my psychiatrist, and has allowed me to reduce my medications. Most importantly it has given me hope and that has made all the difference in the world.
